Artist's Statement:

"HEALING SPACES"

Water and sky are my healing spaces. Looking up at the sky, seeing the clouds drifting by, it feels as if I have been taken out of myself. I feel at peace - not a care in the world. Clouds around me keep me safe, as if in the womb.

Hippocrates said "healing is a matter of time but it is sometimes also a matter of opportunity."

What better opportunity to heal than to dip a brush into water and then just let it flow. I am absolved of the cares of the day and borne to a more tranquil place. There alone and freed from inhibition my healing begins.
