Sue Gunter

Sue Gunter G.I.A., is a professional artist , jewellery designer and gemologist. She has taught art to children, recreation therapy to seniors and the disabled, group homes, the YWCA, Recreation Hamilton, Michael's Arts and crafts store, Southampton School Of Art, Haldimand Art Works and Sunrise Gallery. Her studio,( www.skywavestudios.com ) is behind Sunrise Gallery. Her studies include art, design and jewellery construction at George Brown and Mohawk college. She studied gemology from the Gemological Institute of America and Social Sciences at McMaster University.  She has studied art at Southampton School of Art, and Dundas Valley School of Art (certificate).  She is an enthusiastic instructor and motivator focusing on feeding the imagination to uplift and empower the individual to reach his/her inner potential. She is always looking for new and innovative ways to teach new skills and make learning fun along the way. Sue's work is in collections across Canada, United States, England and New Zealand.
