“Solitude” in Art

My career In the Fashion and Cosmetic Industry was a total focus on image, colour, balance and the perception of beauty of its times. In a corporate world not much is achieved by ones self. All must invest, in all initiatives to achieve the goals of such. It was fun and exciting time. Yet I could foresee a time were I could stand alone and paint with oils, with hours of uninterrupted plans and visions. For the first five years I did just that. I was oblivious too much else, during that time. I immersed my self and embraced the journey of self teaching.

That special feeling, that wonderful place were artists dwell for hours is difficult place to describe. You are alone in this splendid place of isolation. And live it. I discovered in my work and from a natural platform that I was reaching to create and produce …that indescribable place of engagement. And not with out some sadness, too eventually quit claim to solitude and participate and share with openness, my work. In an effort to accord with all who search for what seems at most times... unattainable... ”Peace”. My plans are to search and paint these images of “Peace” and the nature of it.
