Biography
My first classes on drawing were at the Royal Botanical Gardens learning how to draw detailed plants, and subsequently at the University of Toronto evening classes. Since then I have benefited from classes taught by experienced artists locally .I am a long term member of the Burlington Art Centre and the Burlington Fine Arts Association . From these many teachers and fellow painters I have enjoyed many hours of enjoyment increasing my knowledge and expertise in the art field.
Having been a member of The Bruce Peninsular Art Association and The Fine Arts Society of Milton, I have traveled around several districts of Ontario seeking out many of our beautiful painting opportunities.
All these teachers and fellow students have encouraged me in my involvement and joy of making pictures.
Travel and learning experiences in France and Italy have added greatly to my ongoing interest in making art.
I recently enjoyed being the recipient of two awards at The Burlington Art Centre Juried Show.
